Hlumelo Majavu known professionally as Soul’ello, is a South African singer, songwriter and a Performer. He is known for his Soothing sound and Dance Music approach in making music work and his live experimentations, Soul’ello began performing as a young kid when his late father would play keys I would take a board and do what his father was doing, not knowing that, I was in a Musical workshop my Father introduced me to Jazz. later on I began singing at schools open mic nights and in school assembly and at Church I then went to stay with a family relative in Pretoria thats where I begun to consider my self a student because thats where I was introduced to an orthodox type of music which was an eye opening for me later on in 2011 I joined a group which is now one of south Africa’s best acappella group JUST6 thats where my art for song writing, live performing grew, we recorded our First album Titled STIMELA at Jazzworx with the group sound engineer Riffi wacho One of south Africa’s Best Engineer, that is when I wanted my Own Songs My music for people to listen and Have a Great time , with my Background of Jazz, acappella, and my knowledge of interpretation of african sound and elements, synchronising harmony with the Best Message I started writing Music, working with the Local upcoming DJ’s to name the few (Natz efx,Mzidou,DJ agent, DJ Palture) with the support of my Management and Team I am currently about to introduce to the African Entertainment Industry a Contribution of Jazz fusion, Soul Music, and true form of Soul’ello’s Music.
