Small Sa – Mama no Tata is now on Radio
SmallSA is a Maskhandi artist whose real name is Sifiso Mthembu. He was born in Flagstaff and grew up in Lusikisiki, Lambasi location in Eastern Cape. He started his music career at an early stage when he was participating in local groups and church choir. After completing his Secondary level, he moved to KZN to look for greener pastures. In 2017 He also joined a church choir where he discovered his real talent in music. After getting a lot of support he went to studio and recorded his first gospel album with 12 songs. The most popular song in the album was called BANTU’ ABATSHA QAPHELANI, which was also in top 10 in SYR (Sajonisi Youth Radio), it was also nominated in Grahamstown Radio Awards.
In 2022 he ventured to Masikhandi music because he saw that he also has talent in African rhythm, and he got a lot of support and released a single.
Mission
SmallSA is busy now growing his music, he is invited in different events where he does his live performances. He is also working on helping youth out of drugs and alcohol by organizing tournaments on soccer and netball in his village.
Vision
His vision is to discover young talents, he would like to see other people grow and progress in life especially youth. His plan about his music is to be successful and have power so that he can go back to his community and groom those who have talent and interest in music but cannot get up from the ground because of lack of resources.
His wish is also to work with other artists from EC and grow the rhythm of the province.
